This carrier is:

  • Oscha brand.
  • Woven wrap.
  • 100% linen.
  • Size 7.

Words I would use to describe this carrier:

  • smooth
  • medium thin
  • grippy
  • sturdy
  • strong
  • diggy

COLOR

This color is a silvery grey gradation (grad) dye, an original dye job by Oscha, the same manufacturer who created the wrap. The gradation is from white to pale grey. The dye job was very even, and the transitions between the color changes were smooth.

FABRIC

The fabric was medium thickness as far as 100% linen goes. It was extremely broken in by its prior owner, so it was floppy and easy to wrap with. It was grippy, but nothing like brand new linen is grippy. I found it to be diggy on my shoulders, as linen can get, simply because the fiber has zero “give”. It takes great patience and skill to evenly tighten a linen wrap to achieve a smooth, no-pressure-point carry. I purchased it to become straps for a mei tai conversion, but decided to go with a linen blend (rather than 100% linen) that was also a bit thicker.
